No matter our age, it is important for all of us to get our affairs in order. You will learn how to organize important information that will be needed by an executor, and what to do for end of life planning. John Anderson, a lawyer from Perkins Coie, practices in the area of estate and wealth transfer planning as well as probate and trust administration. He will guide us through these complex issues and help us feel more secure in our planning.

Luncheon with Rivy Poupko Kletenik "Uncovering the Layers of Lag B'OMer" Thursday, May 22 11:30 am - 2:00 pm
As history slowly reveals itself, it deposits layer upon layer of meaning on the past. What once may have been a happy time appears bittersweet at another. The same is true for our own experiences. As our lives slowly unfold, we look back and can reinterpret different moments in our lives. Sometimes events ripen in meaning, and sometimes they alter more dramatically. We will look at this minor Jewish holiday, its history, and move onto a reflection of our own personal stories with Rivy as our guide.

Enhancing Your Communication and Conflict Regulation Skills Part of the JFS Healthy Relationships/Marriage Project
Research shows that even happy and long lasting relationships have "perpetual problems" - learn how to deal with these more effectively! This hands-on class will offer couples a chance to fine-tune their conflict regulation skills when dealing with solvable or perpetual problems.

An Inter-Faith Afternoon with Rabbi Moshe Cotel performing Chronicles: A Religious Life at the Classical Piano Presented by The Jewish Education Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle Sunday, June 15 3:00 pm at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center (4408 Delridge Way SE, Seattle)
Rabbi Moshe Cotel, composer/pianist, presents a unique mix of classical piano and personal stories. In 90 minutes, Cotel recounts his private journey from the life of a virtuoso musician to that of a spiritual leader. Works by Mozart, Bach, Mendelssohn, Bloch, Schoenberg, Scriabin, Gershwin, and Delibes will be performed in this program that has much to teach us about a life well-lived, music and spirituality, joy and love, art and Torah.
