PACIFIC NORTHWEST
Jewish in Seattle
Hosted by the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, this site is where many newcomers to the area turn first for Jewish organizations and services.

Stroum Jewish Community Center
The Stroum Jewish Community Center's main facility on Mercer Island provides a variety of programs to the Jewish community including a daycare and preschool program, youth activities, community events, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. The Northend facility also provide a daycare and preschool program and offers a variety of other programs.

Jewish Family Service
Jewish Family Service is a private, non-profit social service organization primarily concerned with the survival and well-being of Jews in the community. JFS offers counseling for individuals, families and couples, domestic violence teatment, addiction recovery services, counseling for youth and children, Jewish Big Pals program, adoptive home studies, subsidization opportunities for children to attend Jewish summer camps, emergency services, vocational counseling, and family life workshops for the community. 

NFTY Northwest
The North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY) offers high school-age young people in grades 9 thru 12 the opportunity to explore and live Reform Judaism. NFTY Northwest brings together Reform Jewish Teens from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and the province of British Columbia. NFTY Northwest comes together many times during the year for learning, fun, worship, community service, and provides an opportunity for Reform Jewish Teens to build and strengthen lifetime ties with each other and Reform Judaism.  

GENERAL LINKS
ARZA (Association of Reform Zionists of America)
The merger of ARZA with the North American Board of WUPJ  (World Union for Progressive Judaism) and ARZA Canada creates one central address through which North American Reform Jewry will support Progressive Judaism in Israel and around the world. ARZA/WUPJ's goal is to strengthen personal, political, and financial support for the State of Israel. As a Reform organization, it is particularly concerned with the building of Reform Judaism and the pursuit of religious pluralism in Israel.

RAC (Religious Action Center)
The Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism ("the RAC") is the Washington, DC, office of the Union for Reform Judaism. The RAC has been the hub of Jewish social justice and legislative activity in the nation's capital for more than 40 years. The RAC educates and mobilizes the American Jewish community on legislative and social concerns, advocating on issues from economic justice to civil rights to religious liberty to Israel.

Anti-Defamation League (ADL)
The Anti-Defamation League, founded in 1913, is the world's leading organization fighting anti-Semitism through programs and services that counteract hatred, prejudice and bigotry. Their website has breaking news, special reports and press releases on terrorism and other subjects of concern to Jews everywhere.

Navigating the Bible
Hosted by World Ort Union Torah, Navigating the Bible was developed to help people to be able to read, study and enjoy the Bible. You'll find the Hebrew text, transliterations and full translations with commentary for the Torah, Haftarah portions and related blessings with cross-references to B'nai Mitzvah portions. RealAudio allows you to hear the prayers sung.
